Join us on Sunday, October 25th for the 4th Sunday of our Stewardship Season. Your commitment of time, talent and treasure is vital to keeping St. Martin’s running and growing. Our community of faith is diverse and welcoming. Your support enables us to continue to share God’s love with others, no matter where they are on their faith journey.
Our in-gathering of pledge will be Sunday November 1st. We will also be having a Ministry Fair where you can learn of all the volunteer opportunities at St. Martin’s. Most of the ministries require a small, but consistent, amount of time. Volunteer’s keep our community moving forward.
Following the Ministry Fair on Sunday, November 1st, there will be a Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon! All who volunteer and all who are interested in volunteering are encouraged to attend.
Sunday, November 8th is St. Martin’s day. We will be collecting gently worn coats, hats, mittens, gloves and blankets in honor of our patron. Collected items will be given to St. Clare’s Ministries and/or the St. Francis Center.
On Saturday, November 14, 2023 at 5:30 PM, St. Clare’s Ministry will be holding our 2nd Bi-Annual “Walk in their Shoes” fundraiser. At this event you will experience a dinner just like we serve our guests every week and share in an evening of fellowship and outreach!
St. Clare’s meals are delicious, hot, nutritious and served to our guests by caring volunteers. St. Clare’s clothing closet provides hundreds of articles of clothing, toiletries, and blankets each year to people in need. The meals and clothing are provided free to our guests. St. Clare’s works incredibly hard to provide these meals and clothes within a very tight budget. Yet no matter the phenomenal efficiency with which we work, there are still costs that must be paid by generous donors like yourself.
The event will be held at the home of St. Clare’s, The Episcopal Church of St. Peter & St. Mary, 126 W. 2nd Avenue, Denver, CO 80223 (2nd and Acoma, 1 block west of Broadway).
To reserve tickets, please e-mail St. Clare’s Board President Thor Nelson at [email protected]. To ensure an accurate head count, tickets must be reserved no later than November 10, 2015. Tickets are $35 per person and money will be collected at the door.
If you are unable to attend the event but would like to make a donation please mail a check made out to St. Clare’s Ministries to Thor Nelson, Holland & Hart, 6380 South Fiddlers Green Circle, Suite 500, Greenwood Village, CO 80111.
We hope you will join us to support this long-standing, critical service to the community.
Please inform family, friends, fellow church-members, and co-workers who would be interested in supporting St. Clare’s!
